Network Marketing Tips For Your Home Based Business

Success

I was sitting here in my office on this cool rainy day thinking about some of the network marketing tips that I use. Here are just a few. The more that you can adapt to your network marketing and your home based business the more successful you will be.

1. Branding
When you are networking online you will want to brand yourself as often as possible. How do you brand yourself? There are a number of ways and here are a couple. Anytime you complete a profile and you can use a profile picture, pick one that you like and think represents you the best. Then use it over and over again. You want people to know you by your pic as well as they do by your name. Also pic a name and stick with it. Whether it is your given name or a catchy business name, pick one that you like and stick with it.
Now get your name and picture out there anywhere and everywhere you can. The more people see you and your name the better you will become ‘branded’.

2. Your Attitude
Maintain at all times a positive attitude. Anytime you are out and about maintain a positive attitude. When people see other people that have a positive upbeat attitude they believe that they are doing well. People want to be around people who are upbeat and positive. They will see you as being a successful person and if they know that you have a home based business they will believe it is successful as well. Whether it is or not. You may be in the beginning stages of your home based business and not doing so well but they don’t have to know that. People want to be associated with other successful people and their home based business.
You want to hang around other people who have a great attitude.

3. Never ever stop learning.
The more you learn the more successful you and your home based business will become.
With knowledge comes value. The more you know the more valuable you become. The more value you can add the more people will want to be around you and what you are doing.
Knowledge equals value. Value equals success. Try to learn as much as you can when ever and where ever you can. A great way to do this is to multi task by listening to books about network marketing and home based businesses that are on tape. While your doing your chores at home or while your commuting to work. Make it a point to learn something new.

4. Treat your network marketing, home based business like a business and it will pay you like a business.
If you have gotten into a home based business believing that it would pay off like a lottery you are dead wrong. You will have to work your network marketing business. If you want it to succeed you will have to work hard at making it succeed. You cant just plop your money down and stand back and wait for the big checks to come in.

5. Be Social
Network marketing is all about networking with other people I.E. the name Network Marketing lol.
Get out and be social. Meet people. Look for people with similar interest. You dont have to blast them with your business or product. It will come up naturally in conversation or they will find out on their own. If they are interested they will let you know. People dont join businesses or products, they join people.
Building relationships with people will build your business.

I hope the above tips help with your network marketing home based business. I know they do mine.

I Am Not A Salesman? It’s Not My Job

Sales? That’s Not My Job.
I am not a salesman. I have never been nor do I think I ever will be. That’s not my job.
I take a lot of what I learn while walking my christian path and apply it to my online marketing efforts.
Its just not my job to convince you that you should be a christian by beating you over the head with my bible. That’s not Gods way. God provides you with all the information that you need to make the decision yourself. He allows you to use the information he has given you to sell yourself. He allows you to make the ultimate decision if you are going to believe in him or not.
As a christian it is my job to walk the path of a christian and by doing so I am witnessing to you and also helping provide the information you need to make the decision of believing in God or not. But as I said earlier its not my job to sale Christianity to you. It’s your job to acquire all of the necessary information and to sell yourself.
How does this apply to online marketing?
Well it is simple. I am not a salesman. I am an information provider. It is my job to provide you with all the information you need to make a decision to sale yourself and join my business. It does absolutely no good for me to come into your world and beat you over the head with a sales pitch about my business. As a matter of fact if you are like me you will run in the opposite direction. You will avoid me in fact.
So to sum it all up, if you are out there trying to convince and sale your business to people STOP IT NOW.
Your are wasting your time and the time of the people your are trying to convince. They will resent you for it.
I am not a salesman! Its Not My Job.

Todays Success Minute… WHY?

“To succeed… you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you.” Tony Dorsett Why?

Take a minute today and think about your ‘WHY
Why are you marketing on-line or going to a daily J.O.B?
Is it to put your kids thru college? Is it so that you can take a trip to a far away place? Is it to retire early?
What is your why?
Just let me say, the bigger your why is, the bigger the successes will be. Think big! Dream big!
The bigger the dream, the bigger the Why the harder you will work toward that goal and the quicker you will obtain the fruits of your labor.

Adding Value

How many times in the past couple of years have you heard some one say “You need to add value and you will become successful”?
I can not count the number of times that I have heard that. Its like it is something that is totally new. But in fact that concept has been around for thousands of years. Its biblical: Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” God is saying give what you have of value to those who are in need of it and you will be rewarded with far more.
In today’s terms and in relation to social media marketing, it means to give what knowledge you have to those online that don’t have the same knowledge and you will be reward far greater than if you don’t. To be successful online you must add value. This is not a new concept but it is a time honored one.

What can I do to add value?
The list of things that you can do to add value is almost limitless. First and foremost, increase your knowledge base. In order to attract people to you have knowledge that they don’t have and then share it. IE: Attraction Marketing but that is another post.
Other ways to add value:
Share items you like or find interesting, movies, quotes, news items, videos and other things you find interesting.
Share stories about your life via a personal branded blog. post articles about what you know. If you love cooking post your favorite recipes. If you love to ski write an article about your last ski trip.
People find value in knowing about you.
Just taking time to help someone with a problem they are having will add value. Something as basic and simple as a kind word and a smile that brightens someones day will add value.
The number of ways to add value are almost limitless, just use your imagination. People will find what you have to say interesting and valuable.
So when the opportunity arises today, add value and you will be rewarded immensely.

Getting Branded … A Quick Branding Tip

Here is a quick tip for getting branded.
When ever you complete a profile always use the same pic. Using the same pic over and over again will allow people to recognize you just by your image. Just like they know who you are when they see your name. The added benefit of being recognized from your pic is, it is more personal.
So the next time you fill out a profile, get branded with the same pic as last time.

A Quick Affirmation

Before going to bed tonight repeat this affirmation:
I am worth every breath I take. I am successful, a beautiful person and likable. People are attracted to me because I am me.
Affirmations work best if you repeat them just before bed and if you say them out-loud while looking in a mirror.
